Electrolytic marking

Marking Set GG3000 Professional

You would like to mark permanently and properly metallic work pieces without deforming them? Our GG3000 Lettering Set offers you a practical and, at the same time, an economic solution for exactly this purpose!

Using the electrolytic lettering system, you will be able to mark metallic parts fast, smoothly and permanently, independent of their forms and sizes.

Process:

The copy of the desired model is transferred onto the work piece by means of a graphite stamp and an electrolyte tailored to the respective metal. The metal salts are activated by an electrolytic control unit, consequently producing permanent lettering. This will result in black lettering on untreated metal and white lettering on burnished metal.

The whole process will be completed within only a few seconds. During this process, the piece will be eroded minimally, i. e. within a µm range. The lettering process requires low voltage of only eight Volts, therefore excluding damages to electrolytic measuring instruments which can be sensitive.

The model can be a static element, such as a logo, as well as variable text, such as consecutive serial numbers. You may obtain static stencils from GIMA. The variable models will be produced with a special stencil printer which can be controlled via a PC usual in trade. You may choose freely which fonts and font sizes you would like to use.
